New Randall Mod 129 W14 Grind Ss Blk MicartaThis auction offers the randall model 129 with 14 grind this knife has not seen any use, has not been sharpened or carried, or stored in the sheath! Here are the particulars this model 12-9 randall is all business. From the heft in your hand to the stainless steel 9 inch blade to the feel of the black micarta handle, everything just feels right. It doesn't have any wear issues, not been sharpened, or used in any way except to enjoy it's unique and beautuful lines. It has a brass forward-curved double hilt with brass and black spacers, and a brass hilt. It has the appropriate brown, waxed c style sheath specially made for the curved hilt. The sheath does have a very small rub mark on the bottom of the whetstone container.
No doubt from sticking it in a safe ro something. The back of the sheath is perfect. It feels very substantial and anything you're up against, you want this knife on your side. There are some small, esaily buffed-out lines on the back side of the hilt from sitting in storage. Hardly worth mentioning, but i want you to have the whole picture as best as i can. It's easy for me to go on about this knife because it it one of my absolute favorite randalls. Kind of like the model 14's big brother and feels very solid in your hand. nI the right (wrong? ) situation it would give me confidence having this 12-9 at my side. There is a small amount of the stuff the shop puts on the blades prior to shipping still on this blade. I'll leave removing it up to you, but if you notice smudges, that's what you're seeing.
