Randall Knife Sheath Vintage Johnson Roughback 5 BladeFro sale in this auction is a good used vintage johnson roughback made randall sheath only. Original owner says this sheath came wtih knife he purchased in the late 60's. He said he drew out a drop point blade and asked randall to make three knvies with that blade design. They did, and i have seen the knives. The blade looks very similar to todays #25, except the blade is a little slimmer. He later purchased a johnson made cover style sheath for each knife. The original owner and his two snos still use these knives in the field today. Sheath is marked with the randall logo stamp on back and the keeper strap seems to fit a standard isze guard handle for this size knife. The throat of the sheath is approx. 1 wide. I tried a nwe # 75 blade w/ a standard size stag handle and it fit and snaped tight. All stitching is tight and the sheath shows hardly no use and some storage / satining wear, but no cuts or splits.
