I have never seen a omdel 5 optioned like this one, but was told it was patterned after a version once offered by nordic knives as an air and sea rescue knife. It has 5 spacers (red, white and black) by the hilt and another 3 spacers by the brass butt cap. This is an all purpose knife and will provide you a lifetime of service.
